Hello! This is an image of a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 phone. There are 2 images of the phone, the first one is when it is completely folded in half, so it is square and would fit in your pocket nicely. The accent colour of the phone is a lovely pale lavender colour. The second image of the phone is showing it open at a right angle, so you can see the screen and how it folds with no crease. Across the top of the image is says ‘Simpatico Product Review’ and at the bottom it says ‘Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3’ with the Simpatico Logo in the bottom right corner.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 Review

We thought we’d post something a little different this week in the form of a product review.  A member of our team had a Galaxy Z Flip3 for a while, so she has kindly shared her thoughts on the foldable mobile device…

Battery Life

I found the phone to be a good all-rounder. A problem I did find was the battery life. To have the phone, the battery life was something I had to compromise with and being a chronic phone user didn’t help. I found myself charging the phone at least 2 times a day even after being on charge during the night so that it was 100% when I woke up.

The Fold

The crease in the phone may have bothered a lot of people but when using the phone, I realised I couldn’t really see it. Focusing on what you’re doing and not thinking about the crease near enough makes it invisible.

After having the phone a year and a half the screen protector did start to come away from the screen, and it was especially problematic from the edge and along the crease. This did cause dirt to get under the protector and it was impossible to get out.

The Flip

When it comes down to it the actual flip aspect of the phone did have its perks, while being fun and nostalgic. Over time I realised that because I used my phone so much, I barely closed it making it clear that the flip, for a person like me it was more of a gimmick. It was about the phone looking cool, along with being able to say I had it and having the most up to date/innovative tech.

Recommendation

I would definitely recommend it for casual phone users but for a chronic user it can just result in multiple charges a day and barely making the most of the actual concept of the phone – the flip.
