Simpatico’s 5th Tip of Christmas is written in curly white font at the top of the image. The background is dark blue, and around the bottom edge are some iced gingerbread biscuits, in the shape of stars, bells and a gingerbread man. There is also a bundle of cinnamon sticks and a dusting of icing sugar. In the centre of the image is a series of logos of the apps that consume a lot of mobile phone data, such as the Netflix logo, Facebook, the photos symbol (a kind of flower of rainbow colours), the Chrome logo and the green Personal Hotspot symbol with two white links on it. The Simpatico logo is in the bottom corner and is wearing a jolly red Christmas hat. Wishing you a very happy Christmas.

Tip 5 – Track Your Data Usage

Did you know you can easily see how much data you are using, and more importantly what apps are eating up your data?  Head to Settings, then Mobile Data.  As you scroll down, it will show you not only how much data you have used and then how much each app has used in order.  Netflix, social media, photos, Safari and Chrome, personal hotspots and even Zoom are all big consumers of data.  Sometimes customers underestimate how much data they use (a little bit like how we underestimate the amount we eat and drink over Christmas), or suddenly go over a data allowance because children have watched a film on their phones.  This is an easy way to keep track of your data usage.  Unlimited data tariffs can be extremely reasonable.
